I decided to make my doctor's appointment via the Trent portion of the Trent Severn canal system. A journey of 3 days versus a drive of 2 hours...... Lagoon City (Lake Simcoe) to Peterborough and return. The above is a shot of leaving the Peterborough Lift lock. The Worlds highest built over 100 years ago.
