The party starts the moment you step aboard Bennington’s 2550 RCB. Directly adjacent to the port gate is a U-shaped, entertainment bar, complete with removable bar stools, and plenty of counter space to whip up drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Our test boat took things a step further with an optional galley refrigerator ($1,104) and a stainless grill ($564). Directly aft, a J-shaped lounge with pedestal table converts to a bed. Party, or pooper, Bennington’s got you covered.

Standard pillow-top vinyl is living-room plush throughout. Forward, a traditional sofa layout runs up each side of the perimeter fencing, with flip-down armrests, movable cup holders, and illuminated Kicker speakers. Teak accents highlight Bennington’s stylish helm console. On our test boat, that helm featured an optional 4-inch elevation to give the captain an unobstructed view forward. All the way aft, an extended deck offers space to board, gather while at anchor, or gear up for towing. Optional Seagrass flooring completes the boat’s classy look.

Below the deck, the RCB featured Bennington’s Elliptical Sport Package ($5,095). Its effect is to give the boat handling similar to a fiberglass V-hull. Paired with a Yamaha F250, the boat banked aggressively in and out of turns, en route to a 43.6 mph top speed.
