Premier 231 Alante

This is a fishable, cruisable, loungeable pontoon.

There are three fundamental activities that people like to do with boats: cruise, tube (or board or ski) and fish. On all three bases, the Premier 231 Alante has you covered.

Start with the fishing. The rear section of the boat is a complete fishing station, with two deluxe high-backed fishing chairs, an aerated livewell, six rod holders and vinyl flooring underfoot that’s easy to clean. The entire aft section of the boat is separated by a rear-partition gate that keeps kids away from the engine, while also keeping grungy fishermen confined to the back.

Up front, the bow lounge features forward-facing recliners for a great spot to relax and enjoy the view, or you can hang out next to the helm in the center lounge to port. The Eclipse Command View helm raises the driver six inches off the deck for improved visibility, and the standard color Humminbird fish finder on the dash will improve your hookup chances.

Want to tow the kids? With the Yamaha F90 outboard, our test boat planed in less than three seconds and reached 20 mph in five. We could hold plane at 13.8 mph, meaning you can put tubers through a range of speeds based on ability. At full throttle, we topped out at more than 25 mph.

Key Features
-A Humminbird 385ci color GPS comes standard.
-The 11-foot Evolution Bimini top is super easy to deploy.
-The deluxe fishing chairs have high backs for maximum comfort.
