We know there are a lot of pontoon boats that cost far less than this model. But when we considered what you get for the money, the 2586 RE I/O kept coming back to the minds of the Boating Life editors. It's a vast 24-foot pontoon boat that comes with the performance image of a stern-drive power package. We reached nearly 40 mph in our tests with a 4.3-liter MPI stern-drive, the type of power we're seeing more often in pontoons. But most of those models come with a price in the 40s or even 50s, making the 2586 RE I/O impossible to overlook.
