There’s more. Statement installed a shock-mitigating deck aboard the 37 SUV. This rides on airbags, shock absorbers and load levelers, taking the bang, pow and slam out of whatever is left of the seas after the hull gets through with them, which after my tests, I can verify, isn’t much. Efficiency, speed and ease of handling at high speed all bode well for a boat dubbed “SUV.” But we also liked the amenities. Step into the console and discover a head with 6 feet 4 inches of headroom. It’s all fiberglass and so easy to keep clean. Remove a panel to service the electrical system. The single-level cockpit is as practical for fishing as it is for hosting the gang for an evening’s cruise. A semicustom builder, Statement will build and/or install a variety of seating, fishing and entertaining options to suit your style of boating. You just need to want to ride fast and soft.
