Sunset Bay 230 Cruz

Enhanced style changes include radiused front railings and seats, brighter graphics and upgraded interiors.

For the 2008 model year, Maurell Products made dramatic changes to its Sunset Bay pontoons, the lowest-priced boats in a fleet that also includes Crest pontoons. Enhanced style changes include radiused front railings and seats, brighter graphics and upgraded interiors. The 230 Cruz is available in fishing, cruising and XR (extended rail) models in bronze (base), silver and gold packages. Upgrading from bronze to silver nets tilt steering, docking lights, a ski tow bar and heavier-gauge carpet. The gold package features a fiberglass helm, mid-back captain’s chair with armrests, and stainless-steel steering wheel and docking cleats. Most buyers opt for three, 25-inch tubes to open more engine possibilities with the added flotation.
