Timing is everything. While testing boats in Biscayne Bay, Florida last week, this Midnight Express powered by triple Seven Marine 557’s roared past. Sources tell us it’s a 100-mph boat, but we can’t confirm that speed.

But we can say that it’s fast. We were aboard a Formula 355 Stiletto powered by twin Ilmore MV-8 570s. That boat’s mid-eighties top-speed allowed us to catch up to the Seven-powered Midnight Express at a no-wake zone in time to snap these images.
