Situated on nearly 10 acres with undisturbed views, Gurney’s Newport is the second property for the Gurney’s brand, which is steadily expanding and becoming synonymous with classic coastal destinations. The original location, Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa, has become a can’t-miss hotspot in the Hamptons, renown for providing an exacting mix of old-world service and alluring modern amenities from exclusive pop-up shops to fitness partnerships.

Along with 257 new guest rooms, guests can expect a completely new experience at Gurney’s Newport with a 22-slip marina with skiffs offering easy access to town, Gurney’s Sailing Academy for kid’s and sunset cruises around the marina on the Gurney’s boat.

The waterfront resort offers a new food and beverage program crafted by premier Manhattan restaurant group, LDV Hospitality, which owns and operates 28 venues across the globe. Among the new food and beverage outlets is Scarpetta, the Italian hotspot, delivering updated classics with signature handmade pasta alongside locally influenced dishes; Corso, an Italian-style coffee bar with a grab-and-go menu; The Regent Cocktail Club, the resort’s crafted cocktail and lounge experience with indoor seating and an outdoor three-level deck featuring eleven fire pits; and the hottest seats in town come courtesy of The Pineapple Club, bedecked in day beds and a splash-worthy restaurant and bar. “We hand-picked historic Newport because a stunning sense of place is evocative of our brand,” said Owner George Filopoulos. “We’ve worked hard to create a beacon for a new era of locals and out-of-town guests be it couples, families or single groups. It will boast many of the same Gurney’s features people have come to love at our Hamptons resort, like Scarpetta, but will also have many touches specific to Gurney’s Newport.”

In partnership with BLADE, an on-demand mobile-based helicopter charter service, guests can access Newport through their new Manhattan-to-Newport seaplane route, in addition to routes between Montauk and Newport, allowing for easy access between the beloved Gurney’s Montauk and the new Gurney’s Newport. Additionally, the property will offer a chartered yacht experience between properties – just a 90-minute trip.

Rates at Gurney’s Newport start at $249/night. For more information please visit www.gurneysnewport.com
