Our 7-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, Mugsie, loves boating. Here he's jumped into the dinghy at Hope Island, Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada, from the Rinker 280 swim platform—he's all set to take a little cruise in the dinghy. We'll be right with you, Mugsie!

This boat is currently under a three-year restoration in which we pulled off the deck to replace the rotted transom, floor and stringers. We also added foam flotation under the floor compliments of a tech at Regal Boats. The gelcoat was so badly deteriorated we opted to create a black and parrot green scheme using Awlgrip and Interlux Perfection paints, hand rolled on. The boat cockpit will be finished in SeaDek non-skid flooring and the cracked windshield has been restored by Taylor Made, the original manufacturer of the windshield. It's due to launch Spring 2010.
