Joey Weller, VP of Sales for Grady-White Boats, Appointed to the Board of the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation

GREENVILLE, NC – The Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF) has appointed Joey Weller, Grady-White Boats vice president of sales, to its board of directors. The RBFF is a national non-profit organization and sponsor of the Take Me Fishing and Vamos A Pescar programs that aim to increase participation in recreational boating and fishing, and to further the conservation and restoration of the country’s aquatic natural resources.

“I look forward to supporting the activities of the RBFF as it aims to help boaters and anglers of all ages and experience levels learn, plan and equip for a day on the water,” said Weller. “The RBFF is seeking to increase participation from the current level of 46 million to 60 million in 60 months. That’s a great goal!”

RBFF websites TakeMeFishing.org and VamosAPescar.org feature how-to videos, information on how to get a fishing license and boat registration, and interactive state-by-state maps that allow visitors to find local boating and fishing spots.

Weller has been with Grady-White since 1988 and is currently responsible for domestic and international sales, along with dealer development. He has held many company leadership roles in manufacturing, customer relations, marketing, and sales. He has held district chairman and committee member roles with Ducks Unlimited and is a lifetime member of the North Carolina chapter of the Coastal Conservation Association. He is an avid hunter and angler, and enjoys outdoor activities.
