THINKING OF BUYING ONE, BUT IT MIGHT BE A TAD BIG FOR THE TWO OF US.
First, here are some tests we conducted:
Second, you should test ride any boat before you buy it. Ride quality is subjective, mostly, and your expecations will be be driven by the experience you have with other boats.
Third, a 12 or 13 year old boat is a an individual. While it may retain some of the qualities of the model when it was new, a lot depends upon whether previous owners cared for it properly. For instance, if it was stored improperly on blocks, or fitted to a trailer that didn't fit quite right, the hull could have sagged or gotten out of shape over time.
SO ride the boat and judge for yourself.
As for it being to big: only you can answer that question. But I will say that all boats get "smaller" once out on the water.
