I am looking for a boat that will satisfy my hot rod fetish and keep my wife happy.  I plan to keep the family boat (which is great!) but need a project.  I would like a find a boat 28' to 32' in length that has a great hull for performance and also has a cabin to please the wife.  I want a boat that is powered by a single engine.  Preferrably a boat that is need of a new engine and new interior.  I am ready to build a 500+ cubic in. engine either blown or naturally aspirated, but something in the neighborhood of 900 horsepower and still reliable (probably big cubes with a small blower).  I have been told to search for a 29' Fountain, but to no avail.  Are there any other boats that fit this bill that I should be looking at?  What all should I be looking at?  I've been a boat owner for the last ten years but my new boat has made me fully appreciate boats and everything that is so cool about them! I just feel behind in boat knowledge..   All help is appreciated!ThanksDavid
