I hope that you are having this done by a pro,as I have seen too many not put on right come off and then the boat sinks,the first thing that needs to be done to do it right is to take it apart properly,the bellows should be warm when you put them on but the most important thing is where the bellows slide onto has to be CLEAN, and must I repeat MUST be glued on with the special glue, if you do not do this it will never stay on and don't let the pros tell you otherwise, also it is important that you follow the manual where it tells you to put all the clamps,and which position to put them in, if you are doing this youself use the proper tools and follow the manual to a T , good luck.

FIRST A EXAUST BELLOWS WILL NOT SINK YOUR BOAT.THE NEW STYLE EXAUST BOOT FROM MERCURY IS EASIER TO INSTALL.WE HAVE BEEN USING THESE WITH NO ISSUES
