Do you notice a drop in power, or is it just the gauge reading the drop? does it return to normal after achieving plane? Loose/corroded wires and connections are almost always a good first check when sussing out a glitch.

Possible Cause 1: There is a low-oil sensor designed to drop you into safe (low RPM) mode. If your oil reservoirs are less than 1/3 full, this sensor may be triggered momentarily while the boat is inclined while achieving plane. Of course a second later you are running level, or nearly so.Try filling your oil tank and see what happens.( recommended to keep these 1/3 full )

Possible Cause 2: Throttle Position Sensor. You can use a multimeter to check the resistance of this. Readings should be listed in your manual.
