If you can get gas without ethanol, use it. You don't say where you are located, but "straight gas" is getting harder and harder to come by. If you cant find it, use a stabilizer ALL THE TIME. WITH EVERY FILL-UP. Sta-Bil and Starbrite Star-Tron are good choices.

Use the highest octane you can get. And dont forget the stabil in every tank. But more important than any these a water fuel seperater with a see through bowl and check it before every trip.
I dont have issues with ethanol but always use the highest octane I can. Star tron every other fill up. Yes I have a fuel / water filter.
