Did you check the solinoid and the connections to it, start there then if that does not do it then go to the tilt and trim motor.
Well--can you give us some more info. Myles asked a very good question. Without some more info its tough to help you.
I have had long standing problems with my 210. You may end up replacing the up & down solenoids, tilt motor, clutch and worm gear. Check the worm gear out, it may have been assembled incorrectly, which was my problem, among others. There is also a breaker on the circuit that will blow if there is too much resistance to movement of the motor. FIND an experienced OMC mechanic, the're getting harder and harder to find. It's a dieing breed.
