Opinions on installing a cetrifugal supercharger on a mercruiser 350 mag mpi bravo3,rinker captiva232. reliability, proformace, longevity, etc?
I have a 2005 Rinker Captiva 232( 23'6"LOA,8'6"Beam) with a Mercruiser 350 MAG MPI and Bravo 3 leg with 22" dual props. Top speed 46mph at 5200rpm (by my analog gauges) and a cruise speed of 24mph at 3400rpm ( ish ). My family does a lot of watersports in lakes and a lot of touring around Vancouver Isl. I have read articles on line that claim all good things about centrifugal superchargers and how easy to install the kits are. I am looking for recommendations (or not), hopefully ones from someone that has installed one on their boat and/or some great mechanics. Thanks.

I'd be careful. Yuo can easily install the supercharger. But you cant stop there. Some other things that may be required include better head gaskets, a different gear ratio, (maybe a different drive--which B3 are you running? I'd vote for the "X") different prop.....
Forewarned is forearmed.

Beware of the extra heat cause by the supercharger also.
