Hey gweis,

Well, the boat is 1,500 pounds. (For reference a fiberglass boat like Boston Whaler's 17 Montauk is 1,400 pounds) Plus crew and fuel as tested, the load being powered weighed an even ton.

That said, I notice we show the DF 140 as making 5700 RPM wide open. Max RPM for that motor is 6100 ( ideally). So we may have inadvertently cropped off the the balance of the chart--the actual top end. If that's the case, I apologize and will rectify it ASAP.

Let me double check with team who tested the boat, and I will get back to you here.

Just confirmed. That indeed was top speed recorded on test day.
