anyone know the weight of a 14' 1969 glastron aqua lift?

in

I am about to buy one but don't want to blow my transmission because I have exceeded the 1000 lb weight limit for my car.  It will have an older 50 hp Johnson w/galvanized steel trailer.  From what I have seen on the net motor and trailer will come in at about 600 lbs. The car dealer thinks 200lbs over the weight max should not be a problem but I want to know, if possible, the real weight of the boat before I make any decisions.  Hope someone knows or can point me to where I can find out.  While I am at it, anyone know how to go about buying an appropriate aluminum trailer for under $400 without ending up in jail?

Looks like 450 lbs. Good to include weight of trailer ( look at trailer co website for that spec). Dont forget motor and fuel and battery and safety gear all f which are always being towed.

Try craigslist in your area.
