Which one?
I have a new to me 2002 Regal 2900LSR with an 8.1 HO Merc with about 200hrs.. My mechanic states I should change the antifreeze from red to green because the red is corrosive to seals and gaskets. What's the correct color? Thanks,Dave

Personally would use what the factory recommends. But after 24 years in the auto repair business I have never heard that statement!

But I do know this: DO NOT mix the two kinds of antifreeze! If you need to top off, make sure you only add green.
Another way to look it is that the red is replacing the green, so why not go for a coooling system flush and change over. Its good for your engine(s) anyway. The red is much more common than the green these days.
