Have new Axius (joystick) on 310 Sundancer. Every once ina while loosing the Starboard engine. They haven't been able to figure it out yet. Of course it happens when I am going to dock. Techs haven't been able to duplicate it.

General

When you drop an engine you loose your joystick capability and also steering with the wheel becomes difficult. They are now going to replace the software package.Has anyone else had this issue?

Would have to agree with the techs, maybe. What is the idle speed on engine when this happens? Could be to low and stalling out.

Question:

Just to clarify: Is the engine stalling or are you losing joystick control of one engine? I have had the experience of electronic controls of all kinds--whether joystick or levers--cutting out. The solution was to open the breaker, count to ten, then close the breaker again. Sort of like re-booting a computer--which is what that does. Followup with a tech.
