Triton Debuts 206 Fishunter

New Model Said To Be A Multispecies Tournament Boat

Serious anglers demand nothing but the best from their boats that allow them to chase multiple species on big water. These die-hard anglers demand a seaworthy craft capable of crossing big, rough bodies of water safely, smoothly and efficiently. To meet these demands, Triton Boats has introduced a new multi-species model that exceeds expectations: the 206 Fishunter.

Triton 206 Fishunter

The 206 Fishunter spans 20 feet, 5 inches in length and sports a massive 100-inch beam for unparalleled interior room. Paired with outboards from 200 to 250 hp, it delivers a rapid hole shot, lightning-fast acceleration and blazing top-end speed.

“Serious walleye anglers have been asking us to build a slightly smaller version of our 21-foot, 7-inch 216 Fishunter, which is widely regarded by professional walleye anglers as the ultimate tournament boat,” said Triton founder Earl Bentz. “Throughout the design process, we sought input from our walleye pro staff members, who unanimously agreed that this new multi-species boat should incorporate an interior layout and features very similar to those found on the 216. I’m proud to say, Mission Accomplished! Our Pro Staffers and I agree that our all-new 206 Fishunter is the perfect size for most walleye fishing applications, without sacrificing the enhanced fishability, storage capability, riding comfort and performance that our 216 Fishunter is so famous for.”

The all-new 206 Fishunter has been designed and engineered for superior performance and maximum fishability. Triton’s competition-proven high-performance deep-vee hull delivers the smoothest, softest ride in walleye country, so you’ll be able to run farther and faster in your quest for giant ‘eyes. The massive front deck houses two large tackle storage compartments, an aerated baitwell, and a convenient center rod locker capable of organizing 10 of your favorite sticks in elevated protective tubes, with additional bulk rod storage capability below. The bow of the 206 features a bow panel large enough to flush-mount a 12-inch graph, along with a drink holder, and tool caddy. The ergonomic driver’s console sports a full compliment of gauges plus a backlit switch panel and an oversized dash for flush-mounting large (up to 12-inch) electronic units and the capability to gimbal mount a 2nd 12-inch unit as well.

The 206 Fishunter is available with either twin individual Plexiglas windshields or a tempered glass walk-through windshield; the roomy passenger console features a handy glove box and a built-in tackle footrest storage module. Innovative rod storage on the passenger side of the cockpit allows 4 ultra long trolling rods to be organized and stowed as well as 4 additional rods stowed in protective tubes. The rear deck offers oversized storage compartments for loads of tackle and gear, plus a horizontal tournament livewell with aeration, recirculation and pumpout that’s big enough to hold a world record musky. The 206 Fishunter comes standard with a MinnKota Terrova 60″ shaft 112 lb. thrust 36-volt I-pilot trolling motor, 4-bank onboard battery charger, Lowrance HDS-9 Gen3 fishfinder/chartplotter, and custom drive-on tandem axle trailer with disc brakes on both axles and a spare tire.

The new 206 Fishunter is available exclusively through authorized Triton Boats dealers. For the location of a nearby dealer, or for additional information, log onto the Triton Website (www.tritonboats.com) or call 1-888-8TRITON.
