While My Anchor Pal won’t fit every beach anchor, for stakes without a crossbar, and no greater than 2.5” diameter, My Anchor Pal helps to spotlight a tripping hazard by providing higher visibility and some cushion for beach walkers who stumble into it anyway. As a plus, it can serve as a marker buoy for when anchoring out.

Made with soft neoprene material, it is available in 10 bright eye-catching colors. It can be attached to a spike on the beach and in shallow water or attached to a loop in the anchor rode to mark the anchor location. And, for the late night party crowd, there is an optional night package, ( $10) that includes a reflective tape and 12 glow bands. Originally conceived to complement the Slide Anchor shore spike, the My Anchor Pal spike cover cautions beachgoers to stay clear. What will they think of next? $29, www.myanchorpal.com
