Apex Marine’s Angler Qwest series of center-console fishing pontoon boats, like the new Angler Qwest 822 Pro Troll, is exactly the type of boats fishermen dream about. Like every Angler Qwest model, the 822 Pro Troll delivers true fishing amenities and a charter-boat-type feel. Combined, these attributes turn time on the water into fish in the cooler.

The fiberglass center-console affords 360-degree fishability. It sports an ergonomic gauge panel and removable windshield at the helm and an insulated cooler seat on its forward face. The fishing station provides a 22-gallon livewell, pliers holder, cup holders and recessed trays for tackle and other items. Under the deck are cleats for drift bags. Anglers can fish right to the bow because the 60-inch bench seats are mounted to the side. There’s also plenty of stowage within the lay-back seats. The Angler Qwest 822 Pro Troll boasts 23-inch-diameter tubes, rigid rail spacers and dent-resistant panels. It’s little surprise that it won the 2015 Innovation Award in the pontoon category at the Miami International Boat Show.

Buyer’s Spotlight
*The fiberglass captain’s bench offers seating for two, a flip-down backrest, a fold-down footrest and aft-facing seating for crew while cruising between honey holes.
*Inside the exclusive diamond-plate double wall there’s room for stowage, and the Traxstech accessory tracks on top accommodate accessories such as rod holders.
*In “charter-boat-style” command, the captain enjoys a fiberglass center-console that provides the protection, stowage and room for electronics that serious fishermen demand.
