Featuring proprietary LED technology, top-quality materials, all-new design, and robust construction for durability, performance, and appearance, the lights are available in composite and stainless steel finishes. The design footprint fits previous Attwood LED navigation light products which allows boat manufacturers the ability to install these lights on any past or present model without costly modifications.
The new product line features an innovative modular LED light engine that achieves a reduction in the total size of a fully compliant light by eliminating any reliance on the housing that fixtures it. For the first time, this light engine is being sold separately which gives boat manufacturers design freedom to create custom applications or follow traditional installations. Colored circuit boards within each light engine indicate red versus green lights which provide easier installation and lower the probability of costly rework.
The new navigation lights were first unveiled at the International Boatbuilders Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) in Tampa, Florida in October of 2016 and are now available for OEM orders through your Attwood Sales Representative.
