Bayliner is proud to announce the addition of several new dealers and markets to its industry-leading distribution network. Bayliner sales teams targeted several key markets with a goal of expanding the company’s leadership positions in customer satisfaction and sales.

Since mid-2009, Bayliner has signed 51 new dealerships in the United States and Canada with additional agreements pending, while at the same time keeping more than 80 percent of its territories in-tact and in the capable hands of its original network of strong dealers. “We are fortunate to have a brand with the strong reach and reputation that Bayliner enjoys,” said Vice President of Global Sales, Pat Blake. “Our historical dealers, many of whom have been with us for decades, have done a tremendous job maintaining our leadership share in bowriders and cruiser sales worldwide. In every open market, we have had tremendous interest in the brand, allowing us to move forward with the best dealer from a sales and customer service perspective.”

Blake cited the company’s recent recognition by the NMMA for superior customer satisfaction in three product categories as testament to the importance of having the right dealer/manufacturer partnerships. “This is the third year in a row that we’ve achieved recognition for customer satisfaction in deck boats, sterndrive bowrider boats, and sterndrive cuddy and express boats. That’s a reflection not only of the product, but also of the overall experience the dealer provides day-after-day. At Bayliner, we take pride in being that rare combination of affordability and superior customer service and satisfaction.”

According to Jeff Behan, President of Bayliner, the brand’s positioning as an affordable, quality, well-performing product is important in the new economy. “The current theme in the retail environment is getting the most value for your hard-earned dollar. Bayliner consistently strives to provide practical features that make boating enjoyable, without unnecessary frills that raise prices. That, plus a reputation for superior customer satisfaction, and Bayliner is a smart addition to a dealer’s portfolio.”

We’re looking to our new dealers to help Bayliner extend that lead in 2011.”
