New Gear: Lowrance Link-5 Radio
Lowrance announced today the release of a new fixed-mount 25-watt DSC VHF radio called the Lowrance Link-5. We will soon get the product in the hands of our veteran electronics columnist Ken Englert—the longest tenured writer in the marine industry—for a full review. As for now, Lowrance is touting it as an easy-to-use fully functioning DSC radio with GPS interface. It’s NMEA 0813 compatible and comes at an affordable price of $179, lowrance.com
