A Mercury Racing 450R delivers exciting power and speed. It’s mounted to a Bob’s Machine Shop hydraulic jack plate for the ultimate precision in setting the ideal prop height for optimal speed and control. Jack-plate controls are on the steering column so adjustments are made without taking your eyes off the water to find them. A tilt helm, a full complement of red-bezel instruments, and a 5-inch -Simrad multifunction display and chart plotter complete the control station.

PlayCraft pontoons are constructed of 0.09-inch-thick aluminum, 24 inches wide, round on the bottom, and flat on the top. Sharp lifting strakes—chines, if you will—are welded to the side of each tube. Nose cones are fitted with skin guards and nose keels for durability, and to stop oil canning. Foam-filled tubes add noise deadening for safety. Under the deck, all-aluminum crossmembers bolt directly to the flat tube tops at 16 inches on center. Lifetime-guaranteed CCA seven-ply wood decking attaches to crossmembers with corrosion-resistant fasteners. Extruded side-deck bumpers and cast corner protectors are standard. An underdeck shield couples with lifting strakes on the pontoons to shed water and drag, improving acceleration and speed.

A Wet Sounds MC2 sound system, with four RGB-lit speakers and a remote, provides a backbeat to the party. The deck arrangement forms a spacious layout for parties, with plenty of lounge room for riding and relaxing. Twin sofas facing bow and stern hinged to roto-molded bases give comfortable gathering room, with plenty of storage underneath. Infinity woven-vinyl flooring is cool to the touch. Patented steps and a ladder are integrated for convenience.

The elevated captain’s high-back helm chair is deep and comfortable, with an optional reclining feature.
