Cigarette Introduces New 41-Footer

Center console boasts stern drives with 1,040 hp.

In October, Cigarette Racing Team pulled the sheet off a new center console powered by stern drives to rave reviews. The 41-foot performance boat with an 11-foot beam has a twin-stepped bottom. The first boat built was powered by a pair of Mercury Racing 520s with Bravo Three XR twin-prop stern drives.

The big center console has a hardtop offering a panoramic 180-degree view and a starboard side-boarding door with a retractable steel handle and ladder that makes it easy to board from floating docks.

Crew should find plenty to like with the aft sun lounge and bench seat, as well as a large lounge on the front side of the console and circular seating in the bow. At the helm, the driver and two copilots have individual footrests, and the skipper is spoiled by twin Garmin GPS chart plotters and Mercury Marine vessel view screens. Mercury’s Axius joystick controls make docking easy, and the whole helm is set up digitally with fly-by-wire technology. A premium JBL Audio sound system keeps guests entertained.

In the console, you’ll find luxurious accommodations with cabinets finished in matte cherry and CNC-cut countertops in Corian. Two people can sleep in the comfortable berth, and there’s an electronic head for answering nature’s call. Mechanical highlights include Mercury Racing 280-S K-plane trim tabs, sea strainers with transparent lids and a power hatch to provide easy access to mechanical services.
