It’s easy to fix our attention on the muscle-car qualities of the H210 SS: the color scheme, matching helm, black windshield frame, through-hull exhaust and all-out speed (high 50s for the 20-foot version with a 350 Mag). But we have to note what’s underneath the glitz that gives the boat its grip in 35 mph maneuvers. It rides on Four Winns’ Stable-Vee hull, with a specially designed deadrise and aft running surface, to maintain a planing profile – even in hard turns. So, though the boat looks edgy, it’s actually made to be safe.
