Lowe SF 232

It’s all about family, fishing and fun.

The new SF 232 is a pontoon that is family oriented and also serves as a cool fishing platform. Our boat featured the XL Performance Package with a 25-inch center tube for V-hull-like handling and ride.

For cruising and socializing, there is a pair of facing lounges in the bow, plus an L-shaped lounge aft. A removable dining table can be used in either area. The high-back captain’s chair has flip-up armrests and can be swiveled to face the aft lounge.

The compact fiberglass helm console features an acrylic windscreen, full instrumentation, rocker switch panel and controls for the two-speaker Jensen Marine AM/FM stereo with MP3/iPod plug. You will find three boarding gates: one along the anodized-aluminum rail in the bow, another on the port side and the third leading to aft swim platform, which features a fold-up boarding ladder on the starboard side.

The carpeted deck on our boat transitioned to vinyl decking forward and aft. Our test model was also fitted with an optional fishing center in the stern, including a pair of pedestal fishing seats, rear livewell, a washdown and a fillet board, along with four flush-mounted rod holders, drink holders, a lure rack and a ruler for measuring fish.

Key Features
-The fishing center option includes dual pedestal seats, a livewell, washdown and cutting board.
-Rotomolded lounge bases prevent rot and include fully lined storage compartments.
-Optional drop-down (from Bimini) privacy curtain is great for changing in to swimsuits.
