In our view, the F23 Tomcat has the most-dramatic pickle-fork bow — not necessarily the best, but certainly the most obvious. The forward sponsons ride higher off the water, even at rest, and slope down sharply as you go aft. MB’s designers also nudged the windshield and consoles farther forward, so the cockpit is humongous — with seating for 16 people. We noted more freeboard than is typical of inboards, which also translates to depth in storage compartments throughout the deck.
