FOUR WINNS H200

We heard a new 20-footer was coming from Four Winns but didn’t expect anything this lush.

Four Winns has released their latest in a whole new line of boats slated to revitalize this venerable boat builder as the flagship brand of the Recreational Boat Holdings Company formed last year and lead by Roch Lambert.

Charged with revamping the Four Winns models, the Cadillac Michigan’s company engineers have worked from the top down going from their popular cruising models all the way to this brand new 20-foot runabout.

The new craft is expected to hit speeds in the low 50’s with maximum horsepower and up to 42 mph with minimum horsepower. Four Winn’s patented Stable-Vee Hull takes some of the credit for this performance. Invented in 1992, the Stable Vee hull lets the boat step on plane faster with less bow rise and enhances speed. It also provides a more stable ride, resisting roll at rest and when crossing wakes. A stepped transom also assists performance by creating lift and combating bow rise on the hole shot.

Styling matches performance in the new H200 and the sleek craft is accented by a proprietary aluminum windshield which blends with the sporty lines and stainless steel rub rail and hardware on board.

The Cockpit is wrapped supple vinyl, contoured and accented with contrasting colors to enhance the sporty feel. Spread out inside it; the cockpit is roomy with two captains seat fore and an aft bench seat that accommodates three to four. First class seating in the bow has its own stereo speakers, convenient grab rails and cup holders for a relaxing and refreshment. What about cleaning up at the end of the day? No problem. The lush carpet unsnaps from the fiberglass sole for shaking clear of sand and drying on a line to make it fresh for the next excursion.

The ample swim platform is easily accessible from the cockpit through a walkway that opens from the sun pad. Once there, boot up for a board ride or get the kids ready for a tube ride. There’s a tow point in just the right place for easily hitching up the fun.

Choose the power option for the sport and load you want to carry. Whatever you choose, the fun is controlled by the racy looking helm that includes a compartment for stowing an iPod or phone, toggle switches, full instruments with polished bezels and a competition style three-spoke helm you won’t want to release to another captain. The helm station’s look is richened by the hand-stitched vinyl padding and instrument brow that reduces glare in full sun.

Not sure which waters are your favorite? Don’t worry, the H200 comes with a custom Sureload trailer with disk brakes and a swingaway tongue to make it easier to stow in your garage proving the new Four Winns, isn’t just re-vamping boating, they’re enhancing the whole boat ownership experience.
