Call it a backup to the galley. Jetboil will boil 1 liter of water in three minutes and do it 24 times with an inexpensive 8-ounce canister of fuel. The featherweight stove comes with a 2- and 3-liter pot with lids and thermal wraps to keep things warm longer. Pretty hot for sandbar campouts, we think. Worth it at $149; rei.com
