Made of a single piece of ¼”-thick polyethylene, the sleeve, which is shaped like a deep-V, covers an inflatable’s hull and attaches to the front bow tube and the transom. ** Westerbeke Safe-CO** Price not set at press time • 508/823-7677 • www.westerbeke.com Westerbeke claims that its new electronically fuel-injected, gasoline generators reduce carbon monoxide emissions by more than 99 percent when compared with the emissions of conventional generators. The company offers nine models in two-, three-, or four-cylinder configurations. Power ranges from 3kW for small boats with few appliances to 25kW for powering multiple units and electronic devices on large boats.

It stores 1,000 waypoints, 1,000 event markers, 100 routes, and 100 plot trails with 10,000 points per trail. It accepts Navionics Classic, Gold, and HotMaps electronic charts. Its 3″ diagonal LCD features a 240-by-180-pixel, backlit screen.

BoatMates Pedestal Cooler $40 • 440/617-9072 • www.boatmates.com Thanks to a heat-sealed, PVC-insulated liner, this portable cooler chills cans (up to 24) for nearly eight hours. Its hook-and-loop fastening straps attach to the pedestal of a helm chair, and quick-release snaps attach two coolers back to back. A mesh pocket on the outside holds sundries, and the nonslip bottom keeps it in place.
