Every boater who points his bow outside the inlet wants to be as tuned into the weather as possible. The new comprehensive weather information service called XM WX Satellite Weather lets you get detailed information via satellite anywhere in the world. Through a WxWork receiver, XM radio broadcasts real-time weather through its satellites that find its way to your boat through the provided digital antenna. You can access, among other things, weather maps, surface temperature patterns, buoy data, and lightning strike locations. The software can be integrated into a chartplotter or installed on a PC. XM WX works with MapTech, Nobletec, Garmin, Nauticomp, Marine PC, Big Bay Technologies, Imaps, C&E Marine, and Vei. Price for WxWorx Package (WxMWorx Receiver, Marine digital antenna, software, power adapter and cables): $999 Contact: 321/751-9202, www.xmwxweather.com
