As if Mercury Racing’s Verado 400R wasn’t already gaining fans with its combination of performance and efficiency, the manufacturer is now offering an additional year of Platinum Mercury Product Protection coverage for free. This is in addition to the standard two-year warranty on all 2017 program year Verado 400Rs.
Mercury Racing said the extra year of protection represents a retail value of more than $2,000. The warranty is transferrable to a subsequent owner and up to two more years of MPP coverage is available to buy through a Mercury Racing dealer. Mercury’s 400 ROS competition motors are exempt from the program.
