Miss Chris-Craft

The Chris-Craft Corsair 25 combines modern building techniques with classic style.

Is it the aft tumblehome? The old-school burgee flying on the bow? The rich gelcoat with boot stripe? What is it that makes the Chris-Craft Corsair 25 so distinctive? It may be all of these, but after a day on board, Amanda has her answer. “The teak just dresses up the boat and really sets it off,” she says.

A teak cockpit and cabin door, a teak foredeck with deck rails and covering boards — even teak on the swim platform — give this boat the romance of wooden craft. But, when bonded to the curving lines of the Corsair’s low-maintenance fiberglass hull, you can fall in love with the 25 today and stay in love with it for years to come.

Performance also enhances the romance. The Corsair 25 can hit speeds of more than 53 mph with its 375 hp Volvo Penta 8.1 GiE stern-drive package. With the stainlesssteel ski tow eye, the boat can be put to work as a tow vehicle for water skiing, tubing and more. The U-shape cockpit lounge and sun pad provide space for relaxing and socializing. And after emerging from below wearing her third swimsuit of the shoot, Amanda adds, “The cuddy cabin is roomy and luxurious.”

“My favorite swimsuit was the pink Tommy Bahama pearl bandeau one-piece with the necklace tieback,” says Amanda. “It makes your body look so slim! Perfect to play and look sexy in.” Her ideal spot at Pink Shell Resort to relax and play? “I enjoyed the adult pool separate from the family pool. Great for a romantic getaway!”
