Maritime Madness is an annual tournament that chooses the best boats of the year as voted on by friends and fans of Boating. Boats competing in Maritime Madness are the same as those selected for published review by Boating‘s editorial staff during the year. The “hull truth” is, more new boat models debut in any given year than we can test and review. So we cherry-pick the new models to bring you what we deem to be the very best of new boats every year, every month in Boating and at boatingmag.com. So a boat included in the Maritime Madness tournament voting has already been through rigorous scrutiny by the world’s foremost powerboat experts: the editors of Boating.
