Captain John Page Williams wrote a full report on the Seakeeper 3DC for the May 2016 issue of Boating Magazine. The 3DC is a small boat gyroscope, intended to minimize roll, and that is powered by direct current. Williams tested the 3DC aboard a Contender center console.

While the following videos were produced by Seakeeper, not by Boating, Capt. Williams’ experience, as well as our collective experience aboard other boats equipped with a stabilizing gyroscope ( we tested a Ferretti equipped with a gyro in 2005 and first reported on the Seakeeper 8000 in 2008), attest to the veracity of information these videos contain.
