At the Desert Storm Poker Run in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, held during the last week of April, Douglas Marine introduced its newest high-performance catamaran, the 3312. Measuring 33 feet long with a 12-foot-wide beam, the new hot rod was powered by a pair of Sterling Performance 1,200 hp engines with Arneson ASD8 surface drives. The sleek boat had a prototypelike appearance, painted silver with a wraparound windshield and a bustle that hung over the Arneson drives.
