Victor B. Porter, 90, of Decatur, Indiana passed away Sunday evening, October 24, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Boatbuilder, businessman and pioneer, Vic Porter proved instrumental in formulating the manufacture and delivery of high-quality fiberglass recreational boats. Then, as now, pulling up to a dock sandbar or starting line made a statement. His legacy continues today, as Formula remains a family-run company producing high-quality, performance-oriented boats in a number of categories. It still makes a statement to pull up in a Formula.

His story is an interesting one, and in many ways mirrors the story of fiberglass boats from the 1960′s up to the present. If you’d like to enjoy it, visit this URL on Formula’s website: formulaboats.com/history/.
