Boating Fail: Piling On

Water sports safety is the responsibility of both rider and skipper.

Wakeboarding, wakesurfing and wakeskating are all great ways to spend time on the water. They offer numerous opportunities to teach children how to boat fun and safe, and can be great for staying in shape.

Yet, even when everyone is having fun the boating safety aspect must not be forgotten. Learning and using the proper hand signals is just one way to ensure rider safety. Another is to never tow someone close to boats, buoys or other obstructions….like pilings! Unfortunately, today’s Boating Fail subject learned that the hard way.
