Over that time, Furuno has received the honor of being the most recognized company in the marine electronics field with an all-time total of 215 wins. This year, Furuno won three more NMEA awards at the prestigious 2015 NMEA Conference & Expo in Baltimore, MD, including their 40th straight Best Radar Award.

Known for their outstanding fish finder technology, Furuno has captured the Best Fish Finder award 43 out of the past 44 years. This DFF1-UHD TruEcho CHIRP Fish Finder is a network sounder that can connect to NavNet TZtouch2, TZtouch and 3D systems. The CHIRP signal sweeps over 90 frequencies to produce high-resolution fish targets that are up to 10 times sharper than conventional fish finders.
In the category of Product of Excellence AIS, Furuno’s popular FA150 UAIS is a Class-A receiver that provides multiple interfaces for Radar, ECDIS and PCs.
