Just in time for off-season projects, Livorsi Marine (www.livorsi.com) has launched a line of hydraulic billet trim tabs. They’re made for boats from 20 to 50 feet and can be used in 12- or 24-volt configurations. The tabs are made from CNC-machined billet aluminum and are MilSpec hard-coat anodized, and powder coated for durability and longevity. Five sacrificial anodes ensure that the tabs will stand up in salt water. Livorsi offers laser etching to give the tabs a custom look.

The electronic senders can read trim position with compatible NMEA 2000-compliant systems and Mercury VesselView. The electronic IP68 sensor used on the tabs directly plugs into Livorsi’s LED position indicators for easy installation and applicability.

The tabs’ hydraulic cylinders are designed with dual seals and 1,500 psi working pressure. The bolt patterns match those used with Mercury K-Planes, and there is a smaller pattern for center-consoles. Livorsi’s 950 tabs are a direct factory replacement for Mercury K-Planes. Transom angles on the Livorsi tabs can be adjusted without needing special tools, so they can be installed on boats where other tabs might not be applicable. Each kit includes two billet tabs, trim pumps, mounting hardware, wire harnesses and through-hull fittings. Stainless-steel braided hoses are available.
