PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
For years Malibu’s Wakesetter VLX has delivered on its unspoken promise to offer world-class performance. Its V25 Wake hull works with 900 pounds of standard ballast to churn up huge swells, and with the new all-stainless-steel Power Wedge deployed, the wakes aren’t just pro-level in size, they’re shaped for advanced moves too. Well-formed peaks with mellow transitions make it easy to edge, but still kick you up, while the long landing zones provide plenty of room for when you come back down. Still, the adjustable wedge lets you sculpt the wakes to your ability, making the VLX a versatile boat that will suit riders at almost all levels.
