Boating Magazine Wins BWI Awards
Boating won three awards for writing excellence in 2012 at the annual Boating Writers International (BWI) meeting, held at the 2013 Miami International Boat Show.
Contributing Editor, Heather Steinberger won First Place for the feature Pangas: The Boat That Changed the World, which ran in our November/December 2012 issue.

The Annual BWI Writing Contest
Boating Writers International annual writing contest rewards excellence in journalism in categories ranging from fishing to travel, boat tests to social media. The contest draws hundreds of entries each year, and has been awarding $17,000 annually in cash prizes.
