Boating On Board: Tidewater 3100 Carolina Bay

The 3100 Carolina Bay combines fishability and comfort.

Join us as we walk ‘on board’ Tidewater’s 3100 Carolina Bay at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Walkthrough Summary

The largest bay boat in the world was unveiled at the 2023 Fort Lauderdale International Boat show, and is known as the Tidewater 3100 Carolina Bay. This boat is over 31 feet LOA and over 10 feet in beam. This large bow-casting deck is a key feature. With an oversized t-top, and a beautiful yacht-style helm station, you’ll find two large 16-inch MFDs, a dome radar, a JL audio system, and even a Zipwake, which are all standard in their package.

Each of the Carolina Bay series has jumpseats in the back that also open up and when closed act as a casting platform. The bow area combines fishability and comfort. There is true recessed bow seating, that’s below the casting deck, to give everyone a super comfortable ride while up in the bow.

All the cushions can easily be removed at the bow of the boat since they are attached with magnets instead of snaps. It’s jam-packed with stunning standard features, including a freshwater shower head angled towards the stern of the boat, so you can easily have a quick shower aboard to wash away your boat day.

Key Features

  • All bilge access comes with a nice motion-detecting light so you can see what you are working on as well.
  • Fiberglass 30 gal. aquarium livewell leaning post with tackle center and countertop with tackle storage underneath, rod holders and cup holders all included. Or an optional mezzanine seating that will replace this area.
  • Talking cushion and comfort: Underneath the lounge seat there is a 100-gallon macerated fish box, storage on the port and starboard sides, and live wells underneath the center cushion.
