Deep Impact Boats has updated its flagship twin-stepped series of 39-foot center consoles for 2016 in Cabin and Sport models. On the cabin model, features include spacious belowdecks accommodations with 6 feet of headroom and sleeping capacity for four people in air-conditioned comfort. There’s a full galley with a microwave as well as a private head with a stand-up shower.
The Sport edition of the 399 has its accommodations in the console, and they include an electric head and shower, sleeping space for two and a microwave oven. Topside, there’s an extended sun lounge.
Regardless of the model, abaft the console there are two rows of three-across stand-up bolsters and seating for three more passengers on the aft bench-style seat. Whether it’s the Sport or Cabin model, the boat is designed for versatility, and we could see the Sport model being popular as a tow-behind yacht tender.
