Say cheese, fishy! Having jury-rigged cameras to boat hooks and gaffs, take my word: The GoHandle from AFTCO is a better deal. Available in four- and six-foot lengths, GoHandle is made using tubular E-glass. It is lightweight, strong and tapered, making it easy to maneuver the camera through the water to get that perfect cobia close-up or marlin money shot. Finishing touches include an epoxy-finished, seine-cord-wrapped handle with Turk’s-head and rubber butt cap. The stainless-steel, quarter-inch threaded insert adapts to most camera mounts. The four-foot GoHandle sells for about $112, the six-foot model for about $139, at aftco.com.
